The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is expanding its Federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to enhance healthcare coordination, safety, and patient services for veterans in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Alaska by 2026. Starting next year, 13 VA facilities will adopt the new EHR system, with nationwide implementation expected by 2031.
